Popular
local accordionist, Ed Hendela, has appeared throughout the New
York Metropolitan area, Washington DC, and New England. His
one-man orchestra, which includes a Iorio electronic
accordion, which replicates piano, organ, and string bass, and a
Roland drum synthesizer, provides a surprisingly full sound. He
often strolls acoustically, in restaurant and festival settings,
as well. Ed's repertoire includes standards from the 1940's thru
1990's, plus ethnic favorites, including German, Scandinavian, and
other European tunes. He also sings many of your favorites,
including rock and roll, and ballads of the 1950's and 1960's.
Ed is based out of the New Haven, Connecticut area but travels far
and wide. His lively style of playing is sure to bring a smile to
your face and a tap to your feet. If you visit his events page,
you'll see a schedule of some of the many festivals, parties, and
dances where he'll be entertaining in the next month or two.
