On Saturday, May 1,
1965, The Swedish Folkdance Ring under Director Mrs. Elsie
Nelson, and The Swedish Folkdance Society under Director Tage B.
Fagergren performed at the New York State Pavilion as part of the New York World's Fair in Flushing, New
York.
Sunday, December
12, 1965. The 27th annual Lucia Festival sponsored by the
Swedish Folk Dance Ring and the Swedish Glee Club was held at
the Sons of Norway Centre, Brooklyn, NY. Dancing to Walter
Ericsson's Orchestra followed the program. Algot E. Nelson was
Director of the Club.

1st annual Christmas Dance and Lucia Pageant
1970:
Started to go to the Farm House in Vermont for cross country
skiing
1972:
July 29 performance at Battery Park, sponsored by the National
Park Service.
August 19
performance at the Statue of Liberty, sponsored by the National
Park Service.

16 performance at the Griggstown Country Festival, NJ.
October
15 performance in the International City Festival, Tibetts Brook
Park, Yonkers, NY.
December
14 performance at Bellevue Hospital, NYC. Very hot, but enjoyed
by all.
1974:
April 27 performance at the American - Swedish Historical
Museum, Philadelphia, Pa.
1975:
Saturday, Sept 6, performance at the Acandinavian-American
Festival 1975 at the Garden State Art Center, Holmdel, NJ.
Marching began at 1:oo pm and performances in afternoon and
evening. Myron Floren of Lawrence Welk Show fame attended.
1976: Saturday,
April 24, performance at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, at
the Swedish-American Bicentennial Salute for His Majesty Carl
XVI Gustaf.

October 2 - Celebration of the 70th Anniversary at Manhem Club,
Bronx, NY
1979:
Danced at One World Festival at 2nd Ave. and 34th Street.
Saturday,
December 8 - Tenth Annual Christmas Dance at Thomas Dongan Hall,
7601 4th Ave., Brooklyn, NY.
