Press Release

1948:   Friday, December 10, the Swedish Folk Dancers performed as part of the 1948 Fine Arts Series at Atwood Hall, Clark university, Worcester, Massachussets. As written in the Worcester Morning Telegram by Raymond Morin . . .

"A youthful and lively evening of Swedish folk dancing closed the Fine Arts Series for 1948 last night in Atwood Hall. . . The performance was in two acts. The first was titled "Midsummer" and comprised a medley of thirteen gay dances representing many Swedish provinces. . . Act 2, called "Christmastide" . . . depicted the meeting of the entire cast around the Christmas tree, exchange of gifts, and dances that brightly reflected the spirit of the occasion."

1949:      UN Festival at Rockefeller Plaza, NYC
