Did
you see us in Florida
on
February 23rd, 2008?
Not
exactly "Skandjam" but many of the old faces and musicians gathered to
preserve the sounds and dances you have come to know and love.
This
may become an annual event in Florida in the Stuart (East Coast) area.
SkandJam
Begun in 1994 as a
commemoration to the life and talent of the great accordionist, Walter A.
Eriksson, SkandJam is held on Memorial Day weekends and seeks to
bring together talented musicians for a music festival
that perpetuates
Scandinavian music, folkdancing and crafts in a serene Northern New Jersey
setting.
See FAQ for more details.
